Kundi praises armed forces for decisive response to Indian aggression
TAKHTBHAI: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Governor Faisal Karim Kundi on Wednesday praised the armed forces for giving a robust and decisive response to the Indian aggression that shattered its arrogance.
Talking to reporters after offering condolences to the family of Pakistan Air Force martyred technician Muhammad Ayaz, he said all those who laid down their lives in defence against Indian aggression were the pride of the nation.
He expressed profound grief over the loss of innocent lives, including women and children during Indian attacks and said that the Pakistani forces had given a befitting response to the aggression.
Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) provincial leader Abrar Syed, district president Asad Khan, general secretary Namdar Shagai, former district nazim Asad Kashmiri, former tehsil nazim Javed Iqbal Khan and others also accompanied the governor.
Governor praised the armed forces for defending the country with bravery and professionalism, saying that Ayaz’s sacrifice would be remembered forever.Paying tribute to former Prime Minister Zulfikar Ali Bhutto for initiating Pakistan’s nuclear program, he said that Bhutto had made the country’s defence invincible by launching the nuclear programme and asserted Pakistan’s sovereignty to the world.
He also acknowledged Shaheed Benazir Bhutto’s contributions in advancing Pakistan’s missile technology, which further strengthened national defence.Highlighting Bilawal Bhutto Zardari’s leadership, he said the PPP chairman has represented Pakistan’s case internationally with political vision and diplomatic wisdom, improving Pakistan’s image and promoting its peaceful and positive narrative on global platforms.
“His efforts have highlighted Pakistan’s peaceful and positive stance globally, enhancing the country’s image as a responsible and sovereign state,” he said.The governor also appreciated the patriotic spirit of the people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and said today is a day to honour those who gave their lives for the nation.On this occasion, PPP Mardan district president Asad Khan announced that he would personally fund the education of the martyr’s children.
