Drug rehabilitation centre inaugurated at Kohat jail

KOHAT: A drug rehabilitation centre for inmates was officially inaugurated at Kohat District Jail on Friday.
The facility was inaugurated by District and Sessions Judge Kohat Sophia Waqar Khattak.
Speaking at the event, the judge said that the centre would play a vital role in restoring the physical and mental health of inmates and contribute to bringing about a positive change in society. She described the initiative as a progressive step towards rehabilitation and reintegration.
The inauguration ceremony was also attended by Deputy Commissioner Abdul Akram, SP City Farooq Zaman, Superintendent Jail Abdul Bari, along with other officials and staff members.
