Mayor orders proper facilities at cattle markets

A meeting was held at the Mayor’s Office on Tuesday under the chairmanship of Karachi Mayor Barrister Murtaza Wahab to review preparations for cattle markets ahead of Eid-ul-Azha.
Wahab directed the officials concerned to ensure adequate facilities, cleanliness, and complete transparency in tax collection to guarantee smooth and organised operations during the festive season.
The meeting was attended by Municipal Commissioner S. M. Afzal Zaidi, Senior Director Veterinary Iftekhar Ahmed and Director Coordination to the Mayor Akhlaq Yousafzai. Iftekhar Ahmed informed the participants that the auction process for nine cattle markets had been finalised and that award letters would be issued shortly.
