PPP leader, Iranian envoy discuss mutual issues

LAHORE:A meeting was held between Pakistan People's Party's Central Additional Secretary General Zulfikar Ali Badar and Iranian Lahore Consul-General Mehran Mohahd Far at the Iranian Consulate on Tuesday. During the meeting, they discussed matters of mutual interest, particularly the promotion of cultural and trade relations between the two countries. Badar said Pakistan and Iran share strong fraternal ties based on culture and trade. He said positive outcomes of PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari's successful diplomatic visits are appearing now. The Iranian diplomat said Iran shares family-like relations with the PPP leadership and Iran is committed to further enhancing bilateral cooperation with Pakistan in various sectors.
