23 Daesh fighters killed in Nangarhar

JALALABAD: Twenty-three Daesh fighters were killed in recent conflicts in Nangarhar province, Afghan media reported on Thursday. The first clash occurred in Kot district where a group of assailants attacked a convoy of security forces. A senior Afghan police commander in the east of the country told BNA that 10 Daesh fighters were killed in the clash. In the second clash, troops raided a Daesh hideout. According to the border police commander, 13 Daesh affiliates died in the second clash.
