16 die on road in 24 hours

LAHORE:Around 16 people died, whereas 1,743 were injured in 1,440 road accidents in all districts of Punjab during the last 24 hours. Out of these, 717 people with serious injuries were shifted to different hospitals.
Man stabbed to death
A 25-year old man was stabbed to death by his brother-in-law following a minor dispute in Liaquatabad. The victim, identified as Bilal, died in hospital, prompting police to register a case. According to police and family sources, the incident occurred after an argument broke out between Bilal and his brother-in-law. The accused allegedly stabbed Bilal. Body was shifted to morgue.
