Polio plague

Polio remains a significant concern in Pakistan and Afghanistan, affecting countless children and leaving them with lifelong disabilities. Despite meaningful progress in eradicating this disease, the recent resurgence of cases throughout the country highlights the urgent need for sustained vigilance and proactive measures.

Vaccination remains the most effective means of preventing polio, and it is imperative that awareness campaigns, immunisation drives, and community outreach efforts continue to be strengthened.
