Rawalpindi:In line with the Punjab Government’s vision, the Managing Director of Water and Sanitation Agency (Wasa) Rawalpindi has issued special directives to various departments to improve water supply, sewage, and drainage services for the public during the holy month of Ramazan.

As part of these measures, the Sewerage Directorate has been tasked with conducting a special survey of mosques to ensure that sewage water does not stagnate anywhere. Additionally, all manholes must be cleaned, and their covers secured to prevent any hazards.

The Water Supply Directorate has been instructed to adjust tube well operating hours to ensure uninterrupted water supply during Sehri and Iftar. Furthermore, special arrangements will be made to provide adequate water during prayer times in mosques. All relevant directors, deputy directors, and assistant directors have been directed to promptly address public complaints related to water supply and sewerage. To ensure efficient service delivery, the director of administration has been asked to maintain the attendance of all field staff throughout Ramadan.
