The Anti-Violent Crime Cell (AVCC) police have traced a girl who is believed to be a key figure in incidents that led to the murder of Mustafa Amir.

According to AVCC sources, the investigation team, with the assistance of a premier intelligence agency, managed to identify and apprehend the girl. She is expected to be produced in court within a day or two, following her DNA test and her confessional statement.

The girl, originally from Punjab and a recent resident of Khyaban-e-Jami DHA Karachi, worked for Rs100,000 per month at a call centre owned by the primary suspect in the murder case, Armaghan Qureshi. This call centre operated in the bungalow where Amir was murdered.

Sources revealed that the girl was a friend of Armaghan and Mustafa Amir, and the dispute leading to Mustafa Amir’s murder allegedly stemmed from a confrontation at a New Year’s Eve party. The argument alleged Armaghan's attempt to cross boundaries under the influence of drugs. The girl later confided in Mustafa Amir, who mocked Armaghan via WhatsApp emojis, which allegedly prompted Armaghan to plan his murder.
