Over Rs3.27m health funds released for cops

LAHORE:Inspector General of Police (IGP), Punjab, Dr Usman Anwar Wednesday released Rs3,270,000 for the treatment of cops and their family members.
According to the Punjab Police spokesperson, ASI Ghulam Shabbir Abbas and Constable Munawar Hussain were released Rs500,000 each for their medical treatment. The IGP released Rs620,000 for constables Rashid Farooq and Tariq Mehmood, Rs250,000 each for SI Raees Shahzad and Constable Obaid Ullah, Rs100,000 each for SI Muhammad Imran, SI Muhammad Ashraf, former ASI Masood Khan and Driver Constable Muhammad Ramzan, Rs200,000 for former SI Muhammad Ali, ASI Amjad Ali, and the widow of the late ASI Muhammad Khalid.
