PHC moved against misuse of official vehicles
PESHAWAR: A petition has been filed in the Peshawar High Court (PHC) against the alleged misuse of government vehicles by officials for private purposes. The petition was filed by Mufti Noor-ul-Basar through Advocate Salman Shah. The federal government, provincial government and others have been made respondents in the case.
The petitioner claimed that the government officials continue to use official vehicles beyond their duty hours. It further stated that these vehicles, purchased with taxpayers’ money, were frequently used for private events and personal engagements, which was an unjustified expenditure.
