14th Rashid D. Habib golf tournament from Thursday
KARACHI: The 14th Rashid D. Habib Memorial National Professional Golf Tournament will be held at Karachi Golf Club from February 6-9. The four-day event will have more than hundred golfers competing in the Professionals category.
The event offers total prize money of 12 million rupees including 9.4 million rupees for the best performers and 1.95 million rupees for KGC professionals, caddies and senior pros, as well as the newly added amateur category.
The appearance money for top professionals has been enhanced to record 1.37 million rupees while top three junior professionals have also been considered for appearance money this year. Also, the lucky players achieving first hole-in-one will also be rewarded with a Toyota Corolla and a Suzuki Alto in national and local KGC categories, respectively.
