Strict action being taken against quacks: Salman
LAHORE : Provincial Health Minister Khawaja Salman Rafique said that strict action is being taken against the quacks, who are enemies of human life in Punjab. We should adopt a healthy lifestyle to live a healthy life.
The provincial health minister said this while addressing a seminar on “Achieving Health with Natural Treatment” at a local hotel on Saturday.
Khawaja Salman said on the occasion that efforts are being made to provide the best health facilities to the people according to the vision of Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz. “The Punjab government is taking fundamental steps to improve the health system”.
He said Pakistan’s largest 915-bed state-of-the-art Nawaz Sharif Institute of Cancer Treatment and Research is being built in the provincial capital. Nawaz Sharif Institutes of Cardiology are also being established in Lahore and Sargodha. Prof Hakeem M Ahmed Saleemi, Dr. Zahid Ashraf, Prof Hakeem Mansoor-Al-Aziz, Hakeem Mukhtar Ahmed Barkati, and others were present at the seminar organised by Bazam-e-Qureshi Pakistan.
