ISLAMABAD: Saudi Arabia gifted 100 tons of high-quality dates to Pakistan, symbolizing goodwill and the spirit of solidarity.
According to the Saudi mission, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has once again extended a heartfelt gift to the people of Pakistan. Under the leadership of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, a formal handover ceremony was held at the Royal Embassy on Thursday. Saudi Ambassador Nawaf Bin Said Ahmad Al-Maliki, with Abdullah Al-Baqami, Director of the King Salman Humanitarian Aid & Relief Centre (KSrelief) Pakistan presented the consignment to Brig. Alamgeer Ayub, Director General Military Wing, Cabinet Division of the federal government.
The dates underscore the enduring bonds of friendship and brotherhood shared by Saudi Arabia and Pakistan. It reflects the deep-rooted values of generosity and mutual support that characterize the relationship between the two brotherly nations. Brig. Alamgeer Ayub expressed gratitude on behalf of Pakistan, thanking the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and the leadership of Saudi Arabia for their unwavering and generous support.
