Scientist M. Arif laid to rest
Islamabad: The renowned nuclear scientist Dr. Muhammad Arif (Pride of Performance) was laid to rest in the Shahzad Town Graveyard, here. He was 71.
A large number of his admirers, colleagues, relatives and notables attended his funeral and prayed for God's benedictions.
Dr. Muhammad Airf remained attached throughout his career with nuclear research. He did his PhD in Chemistry and post-doctorate from Japan. He was sober, sincere, humane having all the excellent qualities of good human being, never made public his achievements, and faced all odds with an open heart and smiling face. He was a sincere and sober researcher with worked with full dedication.
For his extraordinary research contributions, Government of Pakistan conferred upon him ‘Pride of Performance.’ He was a brother in law of veteran /writer President Pakistan National Movement, former bureaucrat Yousuf Aziz.
