No rights, no warmth
By News Desk

This refers to the letter ‘Share the warmth’ (December 26, 2024) by Muhammad Gul Zaib. The writer’s sympathetic approach towards stray and pets animals is appreciable. However, it would not be wrong to say that large numbers of human beings are unable to stay warm during winter. Unprecedented inflation has only exacerbated this problem.
While it is important to show compassion towards animals and work for animal rights, we live in a country where the majority of people do not have access to basic rights or necessities. In such a scenario, what hope is there really for the animals?
