17 officials’ promotion linked to FIA report
FIA records to ascertain whether there are any cases against the officers or not
ISLAMABAD: The Establishment Division has linked the promotion of 17 officers of the Ministry of Housing and Construction, Ministry of Health and the Federal Public Service Commission to cases pending in the FIA.
Before the meeting of the Central Selection Board, the Establishment Division has asked the FIA for the alleged criminal records of grade 20 and 19 officers. The FIA records will ascertain whether there are any cases against the officers or not. Promotions of officers are subject to the FIA report. In the letter from the Establishment Division, a query has been made if any inquiry or case has been registered against any officer. It has been asked that the Establishment Division should be informed about progress made so far in an inquiry or a registered case. The Section Officer of Career Planning of the Establishment Division has sought the report in a letter to the FIA DG.
