PESHAWAR: The Peshawar High Court (PHC) on Monday approved the transit bail application of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Umar Ayub, Leader of Opposition in National Assembly, and Member National Assembly (MNA) Shandana Gulzar.
The court directed both leaders to appear before the relevant courts within the specified time frames.PHC Chief Justice Ishtiaq Ibrahim heard the bail application.Representing the petitioner, Alam Khan Advocate informed the court that Omar Ayub was Leader of Opposition in the National Assembly and had been implicated in cases registered following the November 24 protests.

The bench approved her request and instructed her to appear before the relevant court by January 21.
