Polio vaccination drive in Balochistan from 30th
Official says due to widespread presence of polio virus in Balochistan, further preparations are essential to ensure an effective campaign

QUETTA: The Coordinator of the Emergency Operations Center (EOC) Balochistan Inamul Haq announced that the polio vaccination campaign will commence on December 30 across the province.
He stated that a high-level meeting was held on December 16 to review preparations for the campaign, attended by officials from all districts. During the meeting, it was observed that due to the widespread presence of the polio virus in Balochistan, further preparations are essential to ensure an effective campaign.
Key focus areas include micro-planning, team training, and improving communication with the community to achieve the desired outcomes.
