‘BLA militants’ among seven suspects arrested
In a joint intelligence-based operation in the Old Golimar area on Saturday, Rangers and police arrested seven suspects allegedly involved in a range of criminal activities, including targeted killings, robberies, street crimes, and drug trafficking.
The suspects were identified as Sabir, Waleed, Adnan, Faisal, Fahim, Sameer, and Ahsan. According to a spokesperson for the Rangers, the authorities seized a significant haul from the suspects, including eight pistols, 16 mobile phones, 2,700 grams of Tanzanian drugs, 1,280 grams of crystal meth (ice), four Wi-Fi devices, one motorcycle, and cash.
During interrogation, the suspects reportedly confessed to their involvement in various criminal activities. They admitted to participating in targeted killings, drug trafficking, robberies, and street crimes, and further revealed that they had been working with the banned Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA) for financial support. The suspects also have a criminal history and were wanted in several FIRs.
The arrested individuals were affiliated with various criminal groups, including those led by Kashif Dada, Naeem Dada, Kamal, and Kashif Sindhi. The suspects, along with the recovered weapons, ammunition, and stolen goods, were handed over to the police for further legal action.
