Dairy feed company to train UVAS students
LAHORE:The University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences (UVAS) on Monday signed an MoU with a dairy feed company for internship programme & professional development of students.
UVAS Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Muhammad Younus and Chairman of the company Javid Iqbal signed the MoU in a ceremony held at City Campus. Under the MoU, the dairy feed company will provide training and internship opportunities to UVAS students while UVAS will provide training to farmers to enhance their skills and knowledge in agriculture and animal husbandry.
Both parties will organise school visits to educate students about the field of veterinary science. They will also arrange deworming, treatment and vaccination camps for livestock to ensure their health, promoting animal welfare and prevention of diseases.
