The meeting, held at the DIG's office, was attended by all the SSPs and DSPs of Karachi Traffic Police. During the session, DIG Nawaz emphasised the need for effective traffic management across the city, particularly along major highways, during the event.
He directed officers to ensure smooth traffic flow, especially for the movement of guests attending the exhibition. Officers were instructed to set up diversion points and install filter points to ease congestion and ensure that travelers can reach their destinations without delays. IDEAS 2024, the International Defence Exhibition and Seminar, would be held from November 19 to November 22, 2024, at the Karachi Expo Centre.
