Mob sets truck ablaze after motorcyclist killed

A motorcyclist was killed and another injured when a speeding truck ran over them on Shara-e-Pakistan late on Monday night.
The incident occurred on the road from Water Pump in Federal B Area to Ayesha Manzil, resulting in the death of one motorcyclist and serious injuries to the other.
Following the accident, an enraged mob gathered at the scene and set the truck on fire, leading to significant traffic disruptions.
Police arrived shortly after and summoned the fire brigade to extinguish the blaze. Rescue officials reported that the deceased had not yet been identified but appeared to be around 25 years old. The injured motorcyclist, identified as 24-year-old Irfan, was taken to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital for treatment. The driver was arrested.
