LAHORE: In a determined effort to combat Unaccounted for Gas (UFG) losses, the Lahore West Region has intensified operations targeting high-loss clusters.
In a recent operation, the team of cluster 01 conducted a successful raid at 05 No.
Tee, opposite Band Road, Gulshan-e-Ravi, Lahore. The raid uncovered a 1-inch diameter direct bypass installed on a 2-inch diameter feeder main, which was illegally supplying gas to a multi-story hostel building, including its canteen and mess.
The illegal connection was immediately disconnected, and the pipeline was repaired. An application for lodging an FIR has been submitted to the relevant police authorities.
