Pashto Mushaira arranged in Dir

DIR: The District Sports Office of Upper Dir arranged a Pashto Mushaira “Da Dir Makham” (Dir evening) at the Dir Sports Complex in collaboration with the district administration.

Prominent poets who attended the event included Prof Iqbal Shakir, Afsar Afghan, Munir Buneri, Javed Shahdurman, Hakeem Syed Otter, Badshahzada Hiran, Ashna Bajauri, Yasir Akmal Roghani, Samiullah Sahar.

Deputy Commissioner Naveed Akbar was the chief guest and spoke at the event. He said that the district administration was making every possible effort to arrange such programmes for the promotion of art and literature.He presented all the poets with traditional caps.
