Plot documents given to families of martyred cops

LAHORE:Inspector General Police (IGP) Punjab Dr Usman Anwar has given plot documents to the families of 10 police martyrs from Faisalabad region for building their own homes as part of Punjab Police's mission to provide houses to the families of martyrs.

IG handed over plot documents to the families of martyrs at a ceremony held at the CPO on Thursday. In the ceremony, the plot documents were given to the families of Inspector M Idrees, Inspector M Afzal, Sub-Inspector Taj Muhammad, ASI Jahangir Haider, Constables Zulfiqar Ahmad, Habib Ahmad, Safdar Hussain, Liaquat Ali, Noor Ahmad, and Maqsood Ahmad.

Meanwhile, IG Thursday met with police employees and their families and resolved their issues at the Central Police Office. The IGP listened to the requests of cops and issued immediate orders for their resolution. He forwarded Constable Muhammad Aqeel Akhtar's request for assistance with medical expenses to DIG Welfare for relief, request of head Constable Muhammad Saleem for his son Muhammad Uzair Saleem’s family claim-based recruitment to AIG Admin for processing and transfer plea of Langari Syed Mubeen Shah from PTS Rawat to Multan to the Additional IG Training.
