Imran Maniar resigns as CEO of SSGC

KARACHI: Imran Maniar has stepped down from his roles as chief executive officer (CEO) and managing director (MD) of Sui Southern Gas Company Limited (SSGC) to “pursue other opportunities,” the company announced on Tuesday.
In a notice to the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), SSGC revealed that the Board of Directors convened an urgent meeting on Monday to address Maniar’s resignation, adding that the board accepted the resignation with full respect for his decision to explore new ventures.
The board expressed its appreciation for the CEO’s significant contributions to the company during his tenure, acknowledging his impactful leadership. Maniar’s final day with SSGC will be September 13, 2024.
