Varsities’ role vital in promoting national narrative

LAHORE:Director General of Islamic Research Institute, International University Islamabad, Dr Ziaul Haq on Sunday visited Punjab Higher Education Commission (PHEC).

On this occasion, Dr Ziaul Haq said that the role of universities was important in promoting national narrative of Pakistan. It is inevitable that the message of Pakistan should be made a part of the curriculum for the establishment of peace and elimination of sectarianism in the country, he said.

In the meeting, it was agreed to work together to promote the message of Pakistan's national narrative. Dr Ziaul Haq praised the role of Chairman Dr Shahid Munir for activating the Punjab Higher Education Commission.
