10-day volleyball tourney concludes
DIR: Farid Club Wari emerged victorious as the 10-day third Deputy Commissioner’s All Pakistan Day and Night Volleyball Tournament concluded at the Dir Sports Complex here on Friday.
The tournament was organized by the district sports officer Sadiqullah with the collaboration of district administration Upper Dir. The tournament featured teams from across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
Speaking at the concluding ceremony, Deputy Commissioner Naveed Akbar said that the district administration of Upper Dir was committed to enhancing the capabilities of players in the district through positive sports activities. “The youtha are our future assets and it is our collective responsibility to make them an important part of society,” he added.
The chief guest, MPA Muhammad Anwar Khan, District Sports Officer Siddiqullah, and DSP Headquarters Fakhralam distributed trophies and shields among the winning teams and players.
