Younis, Sarfraz happy with Army training
LAHORE: Star middle order batsman Younis Khan, Twenty20 captain Sarfraz Ahmed and spinner Mohammad Asghar have lauded the training by Pakistan Army in the ongoing fitness camp at Kakul.
Younis said that the players were worried about what would happen to them during the camp but the officials had put all their efforts in training the boys.
Sarfraz said the first three days were hectic but then they started enjoying the training.
The cricketers are training at Army School of Physical Training in Kakul.
“Everyone had a lot of worries and queries when the fitness camp was organised for the national team,” Younis said in a video interview. “This is my third camp here but still we didn’t know what to expect,” he said.
“I wish I had trained with the Army during my youth as I would have been in better shape now,” he said.
