Wildlife board control reverted to climate ministry
Cabinet Division has withdrawn notification to transfer administrative control of Islamabad Wildlife Board

ISLAMABAD: The government has withdrawn the decision to transfer the administrative control of the Islamabad Wildlife Board from the Ministry of Climate Change to the Ministry of Interior.
On the instructions of the Prime Minister, the Cabinet Division has withdrawn the notification issued on August 6, 2024 to transfer the administrative control of the Islamabad Wildlife Board.
According to the sources, this matter was considered in the Supreme Court. On the instructions of the Chief Justice, the Secretary Cabinet Division informed the Prime Minister about the observation of the Supreme Court, after which the Cabinet Division issued new memorandum on Friday.
