Three killed in North Waziristan firing

MIRANSHAH: Unidentified armed motorcyclists shot dead three persons in Sabzi Mandi locality in Mir Ali in North Waziristan tribal district on Wednesday.

According to police, unidentified armed bike riders came and sprayed ex-personnel of the former Khassadar force and his brother with bullets.As a result, the victims, who belonged to Spinwam area and whose names could not be ascertained, sustained multiple bullet injuries and died on the spot.

Also, a 15-year-old cart pusher was killed in the firing.Soon after the incident, the police rushed to the spot and shifted the bodies to the hospital in Mir Ali for medico-legal formalities.The police said that assailants had fled the scene after committing the crime.No militant group or individual has claimed responsibility for the criminal act.
