10 cattle markets to be set up in City

LAHORE: Deputy Commissioner and Administrator Metropolitan Corporation Lahore (MCL) Rafia Haider Wednesday announced establishing ten cattle markets in Lahore for sacrificial animals.

Chairing a meeting regarding the cattle markets in City for Eid-ul-Azha, the DC instructed Assistant Commissioners (ACs) to visit the proposed sites with relevant departments to ensure basic arrangements in the cattle markets.

Representatives of all relevant departments also attended the meeting. The DC assigned the responsibilities for the arrangements in the cattle markets to the Assistant Commissioner (AC) concerned in each tehsil.
