KARACHI: Pakistan’s top shooter Ghulam Mustafa Bashir scored 291 points in the first qualification round at ISSF World Cup in Baku on Monday.
Bashir scored 291 points (99, 97, 95) in the first stage to take 12th position in the individual category of 25m Rapid Fire Pistol event. He will play the second stage on Tuesday. However, Kishmala Talat, Anna Ibtisam, and Rasam Gul failed to qualify for the finals in the individual category of 25m Pistol event.
Kishmala scored 582 points (Precision 294, Rapid 288) to take 15th position and Rasam scored 576 points (Precision 286, Rapid 290) for 27th position while Anna scored 564 points (Precision 281, Rapid 283) for 62nd position out of 69 participants.
