Names of 8 persons in £190m case struck off ECL

ISLAMABAD: Following approval by the federal cabinet, the names of eight people associated with 190 million pounds case have been removed from the Exit Control List (ECL).
The federal cabinet approved the removal of the names from the Exit Control List on the recommendation of National Accountability Bureau (NAB).
The persons removed from ECL include former secretary to prime minister Azam Khan, Raja Manzoor Kiyani, Arif Rahim, Naveed Akbar, Sikandar Hayat, Nisar Muhammad, Ghulam Haider, and Arif Nazir Butt.
However, the names of PTI founder Imran Khan, Bushra Bibi, Farah Gogi and Zulfi Bokhari are still on the ECL. The federal cabinet, earlier, had decided to remove the names of Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur, Ghulam Sarwar, Pervez Khattak, Shafqat Mahmood, Ijaz Shah, Ali Zaidi, Khusro Bakhtiar, Azam Swati, Asad Umar, Omar Ayub, Mehboob Sultan, Fawad Chaudhry, Farogh Naseem and Shireen Mazari from the ECL.
