LAHORE: Former Pakistan player Mushtaq Ahmed has joined Bangladesh as spin-bowling coach for the T20 World Cup. The seasoned Pakistani leg-spinner, known for his remarkable career in both ODIs and Tests, brings a wealth of experience to the role. Replacing Rangana Herath, Mushtaq aims to leverage his expertise to empower Bangladeshi players in mastering spin bowling techniques. Expressing his gratitude for the opportunity, he said his involvement with the Bangladesh cricket team was a great honour for him.
Having previously served as a spin coach for various international teams, including England, West Indies, and Pakistan, Mushtaq is well-equipped to mentor Bangladesh’s spinners effectively.
