One killed, four injured over land dispute
NOWSHERA: A man was killed and two others, including a woman, sustained injuries in firing among close relatives over land dispute in Marhati Banda in the district on Tuesday.
One Liaqat Ali, a constable at Akora Khattak police and resident of Marhati Banda, reported to the police that he had a dispute with his cousins over a piece of land.He told the police that his relatives identified as Johar Ali and others attacked their house and opened indiscriminate fire on the inmates.
He said that his brother Zabit was killed on the spot while he and his sister Naheed Akhtar sustained injuries in the firing.Rehan and Sohail hailing from the rival group also sustained injuries in the clash.The injured were rushed to the Mardan Medical Complex. The police have registered a case and started an investigation.
