LAHORE: Punjab School Education Minister Rana Sikandar Hayat Tuesday emphasized the significance of including underprivileged individuals in the joy of Eid-ul-Fitr.
In a statement issued on the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr, Rana Sikandar Hayat said every resident of the province should contribute towards educating deprived sections and to strive to bring smiles to their faces.
He stressed the importance of mobilizing efforts to ensure access to education for every out-of-school child. He underscored the need to provide underprivileged and out-of-school children with the same happiness that is bestowed upon our own children.
He expressed the Punjab government's commitment to educating every uneducated child and pledged to work in collaboration with the people of Punjab to ensure the education of all children in the province through a spirit of self-sacrifice. Recognizing that the happiness of children is closely tied to education, the minister vowed to utilise all his abilities as the School Education Minister of Punjab to ensure that every child in the province becomes literate. He urged the public to gift school uniforms to deserving children on Eid and take steps to enroll them in school.
