Jumatul Wida, Al-Quds Day observed in Punjab
LALAMUSA: Mosques overflowed with worshippers on Jumatul Wida while a rally marked the Al-Quds Day. Scholars delivered sermons, prayed for the wellbeing of the Muslims worldwide and condemned Israeli aggression in Palestine.
A procession commenced from the Markazi Imambargah Railway Road, drawing a diverse crowd of demonstrators. Adorned with banners and placards emblazoned with slogans condemning Israeli atrocities and advocating for Jerusalem’s freedom, the rally traversed traditional routes, culminating at GT Road Lalamusa.
The people took to the streets to protest against Israel’s aggression in Palestine and demanded the liberation of occupied Jerusalem. Another group of protesters joined a rally to show their support for the Palestinian people. Meanwhile, a convoy departed from the office of Jamaat-e-Islami, converging towards Kunjah to join the Al-Quds Day rally for solidarity with the Palestinians.
