LAHORE The Inspector General Police (IGP), Punjab, Saturday visited the Chinese Consulate and expressed his condolences to Consul General Zhao Shiren over the tragic deaths of Chinese citizens in Shangla.

The IGP and the Chinese Consul General discussed security concerns of Chinese citizens. On the occasion, the IGP emphasised ensuring the safety of Chinese experts and citizens working with the CPEC projects as top priority with increased police patrolling and stringent security measures. Zhao expressed satisfaction with the Punjab Police's efforts in providing security to Chinese nationals.
