Clash leaves four dead in North Waziristan
MIRANSHAH: Exchange of fire between two groups led to the loss of four \lives and left two others injured in Shewa tehsil of North Waziristan tribal district on Thursday.
The incident in Kabulkhel village where tensions escalated, resulting in gunfire between the two factions.According to local authorities, tensions had been simmering between the two groups in recent days.
The police said that the encounter was not the first, as a previous dispute had escalated into gunfire, claiming lives in its wake too.The deceased were identified as Abdullah, Afzal, Salat Khan, and Arfat, while the injured included Ameer Muhammad and Zeenullah, who were rushed to a hospital.Authorities said they had initiated an investigation into the incident, which has saddened the residents during the holy month of Ramazan.
