Minister meets patient on CM’s order
LAHORE : On the instructions of Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif, Minister of Specialized Healthcare and Medical Education Department Khawaja Salman Rafique on Saturday reached Children's Hospital Lahore and met 14-year-old Farzan, who was being treated there for a tumour.
The minister met 14-year-old Farzan, a tumour patient from Gujranwala, after Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz had taken notice to further improve the treatment of Farzan. Vice Chancellor University of Child Health Sciences Prof Dr Masood Sadiq, MD Children's Hospital Prof Dr Tipu Sultan, Prof Bilal Mirza, Dr Atif and related consultants were present. Minister Khawaja Salman Rafiq met Rizwan Kashif, father of the child and assured better treatment. Khawaja Salman Rafiq said on this occasion that Farzan is being treated in the presence of senior consultants.
