Tribal elder’s vehicle damaged in Bajaur blast

KHAR: The vehicle of a tribal elder was damaged when suspected militants targetted him with a remote-controlled bomb in Larkholozu area in Mamond tehsil in Bajaur tribal district on Wednesday.
The police said that unidentified militants had planted a bomb to target noted tribal elder Malik Sultan Zeb bomb in Larkholozu area in Mamond tehsil.They said that the militants triggered a blast when the tribal elder was passing through the area.
As a result, the vehicle of Malik Sultan Zeb was damaged while he remained unharmed.Soon after the explosion, the security was beefed up in the district.The police have registered a case against unknown militants and started an investigation.
