Reshuffling in federal bureaucracy

ISLAMABAD: In a reshuffle in bureaucracy, the federal government has appointed a BPS-21 officer of Secretariat Group Dr. Ismat Nawaz as Senior Joint Secretary Ministry of Overseas Pakistanis.

Muhammad Jahanzeb Rahim has resigned as Director General Telecom Wireless at Information Technology division. He was appointed in the same post by the prime minister in MP-2 scale.Another BPS-20 officer of Secretariat Group, Aurangzeb who was serving as Joint Secretary at Ministry of Overseas Pakistanis has been directed to report at the Establishment Division.

Joint Secretary Ministry of Overseas Pakistanis and BPS-20 officer of Secretariat Group Shabnam Aamer Khan has also been directed to report Establishment Division.Member Engineering of the Capital Development Authority (CDA) Dr. Muhammad Khalid Hafeez has been given additional charge of Member Planning and Design in place of Ms. Saadia Haider who had proceeded abroad.The federal government has also transferred seven Section Officers.
