LAHORE: In order to meet the shortage of personnel in the Punjab police, the physical tests and measurement of constables, lady constables, driver constables and traffic assistants are going on in the police lines of various districts, including Lahore.
The spokesperson for Punjab police said that the physical tests of the candidates were being completed under the supervision of the senior officers involved in the recruitment board and those who fulfilled the rules and regulations would be made a part of the police force according to their merit. IG Punjab said that more than 11,000 jawans would be made part of the police force in phases.
