Governor praises ombudsman for ensuring justice
LAHORE:Punjab Ombudsman Major (Retd) Azam Suleman met Governor Muhammad Balighur Rehman at Governor’s House on Thursday.
During the meeting, Ombudsman Azam Suleman informed the governor about various steps taken to provide speedy justice to the petitioners. Speaking on the occasion, Governor Muhammad Balighur Rehman said that the office of ombudsman is an easy and effective means of providing cheap and quick justice to the people. He said that he appreciates the Ombudsman and his team for the good work. He said that the office of Ombudsman is playing an important role in the improvement of the system by providing justice to the people. He lauded the Ombudsman office for redressing the grievance of the complaints in a short period of time. He said that initiatives such as digitization of the Ombudsman office and mobile app for resolving the problems of overseas Pakistanis are commendable.
