Official accused of embezzlement gets bail

PESHAWAR: The PHC on Monday released on bail an official of a private bank who had been accused of embezzlement in funds of the District Accounts Office Bannu.
A two-member bench comprising Justice Ishtiaq Ibrahim and Justice Naeem Anwar granted bail to Customer Care Officer Inayatullah, who was arrested for allegedly embezzling millions of rupees from the District Accounts Office Bannu.
Alamzeb Khan Advocate appeared on behalf of the accused. He told the court his client was a Customer Care Officer at a private bank in Bannu, who was accused of embezzling millions of rupees along with other accused. He said the NAB had arrested the main accused in the case, adding that his client was innocent and had no connection with the embezzlement.
