Indoor voices

Elections are to be held on February 8 and different political parties and their workers are immersed in campaigning. Unfortunately, the loud chanting, songs, and rallies, amplified by loudspeakers, that accompany the pre-polls period have made it difficult for students in libraries and at school to focus on their work.

While elections are extremely important in order to take the country forward, political parties and their supporters should take care to keep the noise level down when they are near schools and other places where students congregate to study.
