13 people die after eating sweets

LAYYAH: Thirteen people, including five brothers, died after taking poisonous sweetmeat in Chak 105, TDA, near Fattehpur.
According to a Rescue 1122 spokesperson, Inayat Ali, the incident took place when a resident of Chak No 105, TDA, Umar Hayat, bought sweetmeat from a shop owned by Tariq Mahmood and Khalid Mahmood located in Chowk 111, Morh Toil Indus, on the birth of his grandson and distributed it among the people of the area.
As a result, 13 people, including five brothers, four of whom were identified as Shahbaz, Irfan, Ramzan and Sikandar, died.
