Teenage boy killed after rape in Tando Muhammad Khan
HYDERABAD: An incident of rape and murder of a 14-year-old boy took place in the Bijar Khan Talpur village near Shaikh Bhrikio Town in Tando Muhammad Khan (TMK) District.
After police received the information, a post-mortem examination of the body was conducted at TMK’s civil hospital, where doctors took samples for his DNA test. According to police, geofencing of the area following the incident has also been done. TMK’s senior superintendent of police (SSP) Saleem Shah inspected the crime scene, met relatives of the deceased and assured them that the culprits will be arrested soon.
SSP Shah has formed a team under the supervision of a TMK’s deputy superintendent of police. The team includes the station house officer (SHO) of the Sheikh Bhirkio police station, TMK’s Crime Investigation Agency incharge and SHO B Section police station.
Shah said that they were investigating the case from all angles. He added that in the initial investigation, doctors had confirmed that the boy was murdered after being raped, but they were waiting for the final report to arrive.
